Types of Facials
To us, skin health and skin beauty are interchangeable. And health isn’t something we take lightly. Proper skin treatment includes a careful, thorough evaluation of treatment options, patient skin care goals, and overall patient health. Microneedling
Microneedling is a procedure that uses tiny, sterile needles to puncture the skin. This then helps produce collagen and results in smoother, firmer, and more toned skin. Your technician cleans your face thoroughly and applies lidocaine cream (a local anesthetic) to the treatment area. They then use a device to “aerate” your skin. This “aeration” device uses needles to create micro-wounds, activating your skin’s natural response to injury—which in turn creates collagen—and allowing serums to penetrate more deeply into the skin.
BOTOX Facial
The Botox facial uses an AQUAGOLD tool to deliver Botox into the upper layers of the skin—not the muscle. The result is smooth skin, diminished pores, and collagen stimulation. It can also be customized with other products to help hydrate your skin. The effect of this treatment begins approximately 10 days after treatment and lasts up to 4 months. Many use this facial in combination with their routine Botox treatments to help diminish things like frown lines.
Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is an extremely effective exfoliating procedure. It uses a feather blade or scalpel to remove both dead skin and peach fuzz on the face. Dermaplaning can help with things like dullness, wrinkles, breakouts. It can also help with things like better product absorption, smoother skin texture, and makeup application.
Oxygen Lift Facial
This facial treatment is designed to nourish your skin and promote collagen production. It does this by applying highly concentrated plant stem cells, vitamins and minerals, botanical enzymes, and oxygen to your face. This combination boosts your skin’s luminosity, hydration, and oxygen for a noticeable, youthful glow.
Fire & Ice Facial
This safe and quick facial peel leaves the skin feeling fresh, glowy, and youthful. It uses two different masks to resurface and rejuvenate the skin. Additionally, it reduces fine lines and wrinkles, reduces hyperpigmentation, and promotes cell renewal. Treatments usually last about 50 minutes, and there’s no downtime or peeling!
OBAGI Blue Peel
This superior facial peel achieves advanced skin resurfacing. It does this by using slow-acting TCA (trichloroacetic acid) to remove dead skin cells and stimulate the production of new ones. This allows the skin to fully regenerate and tighten. It’s often used to treat blemish-prone skin, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and sun damage. The OBAGI Blue Peel can restore both the facial area and non-facial areas.
AQUAGOLD Facial
AQUAGOLD is a revolutionary microneedling device. It contains 24K gold-plated, surgical-grade microneedles, each thinner than a human hair. This device delivers products such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP), dermal fillers, muscle relaxants, retinol, and antioxidants directly into the skin. AQUAGOLD is the perfect solution for the treatment of sensitive areas. Especially around the mouth, eyes, forehead, neck, and hands.
Cryofacial
The Cryofacial uses a controlled beam of vaporized liquid nitrogen to freeze and exfoliate skin found on the face, scalp, and neck area. This process helps tighten pores, soothe inflammation, and fill in wrinkles. It also helps encourage lymphatic drainage.
Diamond Microdermabrasion
Diamond microdermabrasion uses a diamond-tipped wand to gently remove dead skin cells from the face. It also mildly cleanses and exfoliates the skin. It promotes the growth of collagen and new skin cells and helps to smooth and polish skin texture. It also reduces the appearance of wrinkles, acne scars, and sun damage.
Extractions
Extractions typically involve a few steps: Cleansing the skin and softening the skin (using steam and/or warm towels). Then, clearing clogged or impacted pores (manually or with tools). Finally, finishing with a treatment to soothe and disinfect the skin.
