Deep Fillers

Deep fillers create foundation and define facial contouring, typical areas of use: temples, chin, cheek bones, nose, lower jaw contouring. Superficial Fillers

Superficial fillers are the softest and the thinnest and can blend with the skin when injected directly into the skin (e.g., fine lines, skin volumizing), and they are also typically used to fill in tear troughs ( under eye hollows). They can be used in the lips if a person desires very subtle look. Depending on the filler and the area, superficial fillers last from 6 months to over a year. Examples of superficial fillers:

The questions to ask and qualifications to look for are somewhat difficult to describe, as aesthetic medicine is truly a convergence of Medicine and Art.
